Every day is mostly everyday — the arrangement of ordinary moments
moments that are often repetitive, perhaps boring
there is a beauty in boring — especially when your boring involves loved ones
loved ones include yourself, beautiful boring moments with yourself
and your Creator. soaking in awareness that He is there
surrounding you, inside you, your mind
it is said in the Quran
“We are closer to them than their jugular vein”
you can fear, try and hide, nothing changes the truth
there’s another way — accept. embrace.
submit. reach out, converse.
a depth might reveal itself you have never accessed before
an anger at injustice. a deep sorrow. sensitive wounds.
He is there. He is listening. He sees. He knows.
you may conclude feeling naked. or feeling hugged. or feeling raw.
but you will never conclude with regret.
these can be everyday moments of every day… the choice is all yours.
He is constant, He is stable. He awaits.
